HAPPY FIRST DAY OF DECEMBER

Oh my goodness, now we've really got to get cracking. I have already written out most of my cards to send out, both trees are decorated, and stocking stuffers have been stuffed into stockings, all wrapped up and ready to be put on hooks for Christmas Eve.  I'm a little more ahead of the game this year.

And now, here is an ode to dogs.  I met this sweet pup several years ago at a visitor center garden in New Mexico. His human and he were driving across country like we were.

Dogs have no idea how

Wonderful they are.

They just wander

Around making the

World a better place.

  8. I don't have a dog. But since I spend time walking and in my yard, I meet many dogs. So what you say rings a bell with me.

    1. That's really nice. I don't have a dog now but I see a lot of them being walked in our neighborhood, and always at the places we visit.

    1. Thank you Jim and Barb :) Me neither! I always remember the bang of our sweet dog's tail as we approached the door after a trip out. As you say, didn't matter if it was five minutes or five hours.

  16. Well, I have to say you are FAR ahead of where I am this year! Well done -- you have most of the month to go and maybe will get some R&R in there too!

  18. You certainly are well prepared, Denise! We have the Christmas village done as Patrick worked on it for the past 2 weeks and all the houses are now lit and the villages in place. The entry of our apt is decorated and there is some interior decorating, but less so because the tree wasn't set up this year. There's no room when the village is by the window. I will be writing cards this weekend and the "plan" is to finish as many as possible to get all mailed by the end of this week.

I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
