SATURDAY MORNING AT THE BIRD FEEDER

When they're hungry they get a little bit stroppy.

And so it goes at the Saturday Morning Birdfeeder.
Thanks for flying in and if you are having pizza this weekend, I hope it's a great one!

  2. They do don't they? We often see what we refer to as 'beak offs' at the feeder.

    1. Yes they do at times, though noticed some species get along quite well. It's interesting to observe :)

  7. I think the royalties you pay them in seed should be more than enough compensation for getting their pictures taken.

    1. I think you're right, and they should realize I only take their pictures because I love them :)

    1. Must be an old English word. Family keeps telling me my old vocabulary is popping up more and more these days, and I haven't done that in a donkey's age, lol! :)

    1. I know what you mean about pizza. We have a family run place we go to that sells it by the slice also. Think we're going to do that soon :) I know, one seed, not going to happen, ha!

  15. How delightful, Denise. Your bird photos always make me smile. I see the mourning doves around my yard all the time, and I love seeing them. They are such peaceful birds. And I LOVE a good PIZZA!

    1. If I can make you smile Sheri, my day is made :) Thank you so much! It's lovely to see those doves isn't it? I agree, they give such a feeling of peace. I counted 10 today. Ah yes, the pizza, it has been too long since I had any so I think that stroppy little bird of mine planted the seed ;)
