ONCE UPON A TIME WHEN WOMEN WERE BIRDS…

"Once upon a time, when women were birds,

there was a simple understanding that to sing

at dawn and dusk was to heal the world with joy.

The birds still remember what we have forgotten,

that the world was meant to be celebrated."

  2. so true, so true, Beau and I celebrate the joy of the beginning of each day, leaving home for our walk just as the sun is breaking the sky open. the poem is perfect. welcoming the new day is worth singing a song, whether birds or humans

    1. I am missing some comments lately Sandra. Yours got caught up in outer-blogger space, hence the late comment. This is happening to others too I've noticed. It's so nice thinking of you and Beau getting out early. Worth singing a song indeed, for all of us :) Thank you!
