SUNSHINE

"Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy..."

~John Denver~

I found these flowers at the garden. They always remind me of little orbs of sunshine, and it started me thinking about this beautiful John Denver song. I have been playing it a lot today. His voice sets him apart. I love listening to him and the lyrics are timeless.

    1. Yes he did, very sad but he left us his incredible music. What a legacy, still bringing joy. My plant app says it is a Jerusalem artichoke, but I have just read Linda’s comment and her app said they were Woodland sunflowers. I will check it out before I post about them again. Thanks Ginny :)

  9. Sunshine makes us all happy. There is nothing to compare with leaving the house early on a cold frosty morning to go for a walk, and when the sun comes up feeling the rays bring warmth. That is absolutely my favourite kind of morning.

  13. This is a good time of year to think of John Denver songs. The song you mentioned makes me think of spring. Poems, Prayers, and Promises is my fall song. It somehow just fits fall for me.
