And they have a few words to say also.
And that's how it goes on a Saturday Morning at the Bird Feeder.
Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
Oh my GOSH! I am exhausted and it has been kind of a rough week. But I am smiling ear to EAR!!!! You tickle me to no END!!! I will go to bed really happy now and read this a few more time when I get up to start the day right.
ReplyDeleteVery sorry for your rough week Ginny. I am so happy this gave you a lift :) I hope your week will be much better than the last.
DeleteThere's strike action across the western world. Shame ;-)
ReplyDeleteFor shame ;) even the squirrels, birds and donkeys are revolting around here.
DeleteI know the donkey will be happy not to have any more pins stuck in his ...rear!

Smiling here, thanks Donna, I most definitely do know ;) - sending hugs!
DeleteThanks for the smiles.
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome Sue :)
DeleteWell it's a busy place around the bird feeder even without the seed out there. Amazing that the donkeys showed up as well to help the cause.
ReplyDeleteIt is pretty quiet right now :) those donkeys were very supportive, the protestors have disappeared.
DeleteLOL, poor donkey! Those pin pricks can hurt. Cute post and images. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHe appreciates your sympathy Eileen :) Thank you, glad you enjoyed. You have a great weekend also!
DeleteBut why without seeds?

DeleteThanks for the question Angie :) In the hotter months I stop filling the bird feeders and just put water out. We have been getting a lot of raccoons and foxes around here, and I don't want them to clash with the neighborhood pets. I am waiting for them to hibernate. Not exactly sure if they fully hibernate but they do seem to disappear more in the colder months. I would take in the feeders at night but they started coming earlier and earlier. I swear they know!
ha ha, how about we duct tape the tails on the donkey? would that hurt? I LOVE DONKEYS. I have kissed two of them in the past, and also a cow and a horse. you know on the long beautiful heads, right between the ears
ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea Sandra ;) That's a sweet memory of the ones you knew. I don't see them too often, occasionally out in the countryside when they are keeping company with goats. I think they use them as a guard dog. My one encounter with a donkey as a child taught me the proper way to feed an animal. I learned not to pick up grass and try to stuff his mouth fingers first, a big ouch! I learned to place feed on the palm of my hand with fingers outstretched. It only need one lesson when fingers were chomped on :)
DeleteAwesome! Greatly done!! Thanks;-))
ReplyDeleteThank you Anne, you are very welcome :)
DeleteA fun stop here as I try to catch up on blog posts! Happy Saturday to you, Denise!

ReplyDeleteThat's great Martha Ellen and thank you so much for telling me that. I am always happy to pass on a laugh or two or three :))) You have a happy day also, and I'll be peeking out behind the curtain to see if they are hanging around ;)
