This popped into the mailbox a while ago. It is one of Ann's special Happy Mail Cards. Many of you have received them as I have seen on your blogs. Ann is very generous and kind in spreading the joy.
I wanted to show you where I put it Ann.
This is the shelf where I keep my special treasures. I can see it all the time when I am in my corner. It's where I do my blogging. I have a small nesting table to rest my laptop on. As I look up at your card while typing this, I am smiling.
If you go to this link you can see it on Ann's blog. She started this lovely tradition in August 2023.
Thank you so much, you are a dear friend!
Both Ann and her cards are so wonderful! I love your sheep and duck! I went out and bought one of those tiny easels, like she displays cards, to display hers. It works real well, and is good for other things, too.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree, I love all of Ann’s cards. The easel is a great idea for display. I will look out for one. I have had the sheep figurine and duck for over 30 years. There’s also a small crow on the sheep’s head. I always keep my Remembrance Poppies on there year round. I had more but they were so old they literally fell apart. The squirrel is one of the gifts from my son and daughter-in-law. They know me so well. I love it!
DeleteLooks lovely there Denise.
ReplyDeleteThank you Margaret :)
DeleteAw, thank you so much for your kind words. It's been such a joy making these cards and sending them out every month. That squirrel on the shelf is adorable. My card is in good company
ReplyDeleteMeant every word my friend :) and thanks again. I think it’s why your cards are so special, not only because they are very pretty and beautifully made, but because of the overall joy that goes into making them.
DeleteAnn has started a lovely tradition and clearly the idea is spreading. How nice.
ReplyDeleteShe certainly has :) and totally agree. Thank you Janice!
DeleteAnn sounds like a wonderful lady! Love the card design.
ReplyDeleteThank you Angie, I couldn’t agree more :)
DeleteGreat! Yes, lovely sentiments :) Ginny idea of the easel is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet card amongst your darling shelf of favorites Denise. Spreading kindness is a wonderful thing!
ReplyDeleteThank you Martha Ellen, isn't it a sweet card, and I totally agree, for me kindness is everything.
Deletehope the squirrel doesn't nibble on the card, our squirrels love watermelon. we throw out the watermelon rinds and they scoff them up. I love Ann and her cards and you and Ginny and know many of the bloggers she sends to and love them too
ReplyDeleteI am keeping a close eye on that squirrel Sandra, lol! I didn't know they loved watermelon but am not surprised. They seem to love everything. Ann has quite a fan club out there, us included :)
