I WHISPERED TO THAT OLD...

I whispered to that old windmill,

Don’t give up! Even though

Your blades are rusty, and

They creak and groan,

Your voice will sing again.

And soar on the wind,

And your notes will weave

Through the rustling trees,

And joy and hope will be

Felt in every leaf.

    1. Thank you Ginny :) I saw my photo and the poem took an hour for me to put together. I enjoyed doing that. You are very welcome on the scorpion. A fascinating piece of machinery that will save lives.

    1. Thanks Ann, so glad you like it. It was a perfect sky that day :) I don’t do poems very often, but when I can’t find one to fit, I will give it a go. As long as they are short, my brain hurts after a while, lol!

  8. Having an old windmill, that really spoke to me. I forget how old mine is, I just know it was spinning long before I was born.

  10. This brings back memories of the wind charger we had on the farm. The sound rose and fell with each gust if wind.
