we are still barefoot and as little clothing as possible and still be decent. LOL... i am wondering who risked those prickly quills putting the sweaters on the hedge hogs. I did buy a flannel like long sleeve gown. the two flannels gowns i have are 15 years old. they don't wear out because I only wear them on cold, cool to you, days as house dresses. I called them flannel like because they fell like flannel but are reccyled material and made in vietnam. Walmart of course
Smiling here on that first sentence Sandra :) I have a couple of flannels too, keep washing and wearing them and they never seem to wear out, lol! It's been so long the labels have worn and not sure where they were made or where I bought them from.
My son is in Texas this week Donna and he has been telling me how hot it is. Hope it gets cooler for you soon. Glad you enjoyed the cartoon. Thank you and hugs back to you too :)
Fortunately, though it was still on the cooler side (which I loved), it didn't rain :) Hope you had a very Happy Sunday Martha Ellen and will have a great week!
Denise that is surprising to hear as we had 3 inches of rain on my unofficial gauge. We also had high winds. Sorry you didn't at least get the rain! Have a happy week, my friend.
It rained buckets after I posted my comment Martha Ellen. We must have had the same as you with wind gusts also. I am a little confused with the timing now but it did not rain today thankfully :)
hehehehe...we have galoshes and umbrella weather here too!! i happen to love inside days...i made pot roast and mashed potatoes yesterday, it was the perfect weather for that!!
We were in a deluge of rain at the time I posted this, and I actually had a blanket around my knees :) It's still a great time of the year and what's a little rain and cold weather and smiling here.
Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!

ReplyDeleteIsn't it? I wore winter woollies yesterday and socks! Today it's not quite as cool :)
DeleteSo funny and cute to see the pair.
ReplyDeleteHappy you enjoyed Roentare, thank you :)

DeleteSo cute, Denise! And so true. The rain, though badly needed, did require extra gear for those that ventured outside yesterday! Happy Sunday!

DeleteIt was like that here last week. Hoodie in the morning, hoodie in the evening, T-shirt in the afternoon. This week is hoodie all day kind of days.
ReplyDeleteIt's that time of the year which I love :) Looking forward to wearing my sweaters again :)
DeleteI almost never wear a pullover sweater. Cardigans and shirt jackets are for me.
ReplyDeleteI love cardigans and shirt jackets too :)

All the best Jan
Thank you Jan and all the best to you also :)
DeleteVery true! Lol. Layers is the answer. Thank you for sharing friend. Aloha!
ReplyDeleteLayers, such a clever thing to do :) Took me a few years to figure that out, lol!
DeleteI couldn't agree more!
ReplyDeleteWe are of like mind, thank you Jeanie :)
DeleteCute! Although I rarely regret my sweater. I'm usually on the chilly side so having a good excuse to leave the house with my sweater is a plus!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennifer! I love my sweaters :)
