A beautiful and functional place for the critters to dine!!! And they are up to their weekly cleverness and hijinks. A fun new word, too! It is true that I sleep better when it rains! And now I know why...drizzlosis!!!

DeleteDo you have a camera in your bird feeder? We too have drizzle this morning but I'm not feeling as happy about it! Have you heard of mizzle? "Used in Devon and Cornwall to mean a misty drizzle."
ReplyDeleteYes I do Liz, it's a nifty little bird feeder and have only had it for a month but I have a story to tell about it sometime :) I haven't heard of mizzle, or if I had when I lived in south Devon, I have forgotten. I have lived here 47 years. The mind gets misty :) Now that's a lovely word!

DeleteDenise, learned a new word today. There's nothing like a rainfall, light or heavy. It helps with so many things, and we especially need it here in California. We did get much rain this year, and was thankful. Your bird feeder posts always delight me. And you sure take wonderful photos to go along with the story.

DeleteI love the sound of rain. I like to snuggle under the doona with a book when it is cold and raining.(but that doesn't happen often in Queensland. It is usually hot when it rains.
