A QUICK TRIP TO ANNAPOLIS ON THURSDAY, JUNE 8TH, 2023.

We left the house a little after 10.00 a.m., saw a few boats in a marina, had a nice lunch at one of the local restaurants, drove around a little and back home by 4.00 p.m.   The traffic was heavy on the freeways in parts, but not so bad really.  It was all freely flowing.

These last couple of days have been very hazy, and the air pollution reached a historical high according to the news today.  This is from all the fires in Canada which were having an effect in many areas in the States.  My sympathy to all our Canadian friends, with a heartfelt wish that these fires will be put out quickly.

Not too many photos on this trip but I will have a few next week.   Most were from the passenger side window and it was a hit and miss at times.

I thought this was a lovely sign for St Mary’s Graduates.

So, to borrow such a wonderful sentiment, to all of you out there, have a great weekend and go safely and in peace.

  5. The photos are good if taken from inside the car out the window, often the only way sometimes.
Saw the smoke on our TV this evening.

    1. Thanks Margaret :) and I'm hoping for the best for those fires. Our skies are blue today but not sure about the airstream. I haven't looked properly yet.

  8. Nature will be needed to put out most of the fires. We need some major rain systems to go through. It is very, very dry here.

    1. I would never complain about such things Jenn. When Mother Nature throws a wobbly, there's not much we can do about it. Sad that many are suffering and hope the fires lessen very soon.
