  7. Spring flowers are lovely because they arrive slowly, giving us time to appreciate them. Summer flowers compete with each other, it seems.

  8. It’s coming. Colt’s-foot was blooming already on a walk the other day, and the pussy willows look very plump. Soon the woodlands will be carpeted with spring ephemerals.

  10. We started to see blossoming trees and flowers in SC. Now that we are back in PA we see bare trees and no flowers … won’t be long though!

  16. Like Rita, it will be awhile before blooming season for us. Unless we have warmer weather than is, or was, normal. Those flowers are lovely to look at.

  18. What a montage! Lovely. My first crocuses opened today and then I spent an hour cleaning up one of the garden spaces I have. More to do but weather was perfect to start today. Cooler tomorrow.
