The tulips are from my archives but the article I read recently.
“Dutch Grown”, a floral company in the Netherlands, has donated over 10,000 flower bulbs to transform a park in Swannanoa, North Carolina.
The company said, “To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow. That belief is our gift to Swannanoa and everyone in Western North Carolina.”
Once again it does the heart good to see people trying to help others by lifting their spirits with these kind acts.
Thanks for stopping by and
I am wishing you all a wonderful day
full of positivity!
Wow, these photos are wonderful, totally gorgeous! Wonder why they chose this particular place?
ReplyDeleteHow lovely. Thank you - and that Dutch company.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty and delightful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of beautiful tulips. Lovely to hear of acts of generosity. Its too hot here for tulips to grow but they grow up on the tablelands. The town of Toowoomba has a fabulous Flower Festival in Spring where I have seen beautiful tulips growing.
ReplyDeleteThe tulips are beautiful, lovely photos Denise!
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a wonderful day!
So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteTulips are pretty. I hope they are available for my party on Thursday.
ReplyDeleteI would never had guessed that gorgeous two-toned beauty was a tulip. Wow! :)
ReplyDeleteThose tulips are gorgeous! It's lovely to read of generous acts.
ReplyDeleteI love the article and its so true, I am sure the resident survivors of the hurricane will enjoy the flowers and it will lift there spirits...

Tulips are one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this uplifting post. You are sweet. I so enjoy your comments. Aloha, Denise
ReplyDeleteI was sad to hear about the damage that occurred here after the hurricane. Swannanoa seems like such a beautiful little town that I'd love to visit one day. One of my friends is a carpet cleaner in greensboro, so I'll have to make the trip up there this Spring to see the tulips.
ReplyDeleteFlowers lift my spirits as does this beautiful act of kind to those in NC. Such lovely tulips you have featured Denise!
ReplyDeleteThe quote from Audrey Hepburn is one of my favorites. We should all plant flowers - always.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful thing to do. Those flowers are all so pretty
ReplyDeleteSo cheery - and not one snow photo (so many of those in the blog posts today!) Thanks for some happy flower photos!! Hope you are enjoying a snug Wednesday!
