  5. Looks like most of those birds should have listened a little closer to their feathers. We had snow again yesterday and I'm hoping it doesn't start up again today. As it is I have to go out this afternoon so I'll probably have to shovel.

  7. Haha ... truly enjoyed this chatty little group. Seems like feelings and feathers might not be quite as reliable as barometers and science. :)

  8. Hah! My brother lives in VA also and I recall visiting when they had a snowstorm one time and how amazed everyone but me was since I am from WI.
My grandmother used to say that Juncos predicted snow. I'm not sure how.
    Thanks for the visit!

    1. Hello Val, thank you so much for visiting me back, I much appreciate you doing so :) very interesting what your grandmother said. Our juncos appear here at the onset of the colder months and leave in the Spring. How nice that your brother lives in Virginia. Some of my husband’s family on his dad’s side settled in North Dakota, but there were those who settled in WI also.

    1. Apparently so Sandra and very happy you enjoyed. I never know how their conversations are going to go until I pick each photo but this seemed to fit somehow. They were a chatty bunch today :) I have you to thank for the penguin. I found him at pixabay.com which you introduced me to years ago. Always grateful to you for that :)
