The answer would be yes! One of the many things I enjoy about Williamsburg is that I can always count on seeing dogs being taken for walks around town. I managed to get photos of a few of them. The only dog I had a chance to be introduced to by their human was Mackenzie Rose. She was adorable!
Everyone else was busy getting somewhere.
These were across the street.
“Old dogs, like old shoes, are comfortable. They might be a bit out of shape and a little worn around the edges, but they fit well.”
~Bonnie Wilcox~
“No one appreciates the very special genius of your conversation as much as the dog does.”
~Christopher Morley~
And these two were out of there. Those little legs were moving very fast, and they were chuffing along like a steam engine going uphill. Perhaps they will be back?
Thanks for looking and enjoy your day.
They all look like very happy, healthy pooches. Which is lovely.
ReplyDeleteThey always seem to be very healthy and happy pooches there Sue :)
DeleteThe dogs are great way to start the day!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree more :)
DeleteThe dogs are lovely Denise.
ReplyDeleteWe have dogs go past our place with people of course every single day morning and night, all of course walking their dogs and then the dogs in the street bark at these walking dogs...get a bit noisy at times, just some days.
We used to have two dogs but unfortunately they passed some years ago now.
Thank you Margaret, they certainly are. I've been thinking about the dogs and we've both said that in all the years we have been with those dogs in Williamsburg, I haven't heard one dog bark!!! We even asked our son, just always so well behaved, it's quite amazing to think about it.
DeleteLots of wagging tails!
ReplyDeleteThere certainly were :)
DeleteI love all dogs, they are so cute. Great photos. Take care, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteI do too Eileen :) Thank you and you have a great weekend :)
DeleteSweet fur babies!! All of them. And the quotes are true to life imo.
ReplyDeleteI agree Anni, sweet fur babies is an apt description :)
DeleteWhy haven't you got a dog? You love them so.
ReplyDeleteI keep asking Gregg that Diane :) We are very happy being around them though in other ways. Any babysitting needed, we there, lol!

Hello Breathtaking :) Thank you, so glad you had a nice visit with me today.
DeleteThere is a predominance of white dogs! The little ones are so cute! I love watching dogs with short legs, they have a hard time keeping up with their humans.
ReplyDeleteWe noticed that too Ginny, white or a beige color, except for those cute little terriers :)
DeleteI love all the dogs, even the small ones, the ones we call Un-Dogs! he he he. my favorite and one I would bring home is the the white one at the table at the end. i am all about dog friendly places
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra, that's funny, never heard of un-dogs before. I could have brought them all home truthfully :)
DeleteDenise, you clearly love dogs. It's so nice seeing so many enjoying their walkies. I'm so glad dogs are more and more welcome!
ReplyDeleteMe too, as long as their owners behave, lol! :)
DeleteThey all look leashed and well behaved!
ReplyDeleteVery much so Ellen :)
