The Carolina Wren came back. The dear little thing had disappeared for a while so its visit was very welcome.

The Carolina Wren is about the size of a teacup, just about.
What a charmer. Pint-sized but none the less beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAs I often say with all things of small stature, maybe small but has the heart of a lion :)
DeleteHurrah, I am so glad to see him!! I love the little wrens. They are very brave and spunky, as well. You got great pictures.
ReplyDeleteThey are sweet aren't they Ginny? Thank you :)
DeleteA lovely perky little bird
ReplyDeleteMost definitely, thanks Margaret :)
DeleteYour photographs are lovely, Denise. I watch our wren every morning. It has a routine that other birds don't have and I know exactly what it is going to do next.
ReplyDeleteThank you Valerie, lovely to hear of your morning visitor too. When we look at anything in detail, their personalities come out.
DeleteWow! Your pictures are pretty amazing, and it's impressive how close up everything is so we can see every detail. Kudos and Hugs...RO
ReplyDeleteHi RO, thank you and hugs right back at you :)
DeleteLindo e bem apanhado.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e um bom 1º de Maio.

ReplyDeleteSuper set of images of the dear little Wren.
If they are anything akin to our Wren, they for the size are very noisy vocally.
