I share so many photos of the Canada Goose, that when I came across this one in my folder recently, I thought you would like to see a Greylag Goose for a change. I took the photo several years ago while in England. I rarely get to see them here and can't remember the last time. You can find out more about them at this link.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day.
I see them here in Virginia, sometimes in my back yard!
ReplyDeleteIt's a small world after all!
DeleteI have them on my neighbouring park. Good shot.
ReplyDeleteWonderful and thank you :)
DeleteThank goodness for your pictures. I don't get to see wildlife anymore... so sad. Wonder if they miss me :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad my photos bring back your wildlife a little Valerie. You are missed, we are all connected :)
DeleteLindo uma bela pose.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

DeleteWith Canada geese things are going to get more difficult for you. Sometime in the future Canada geese may be divided into six separate species.
ReplyDeleteInteresting Red :)
DeleteI always enjoy seeing the rare ones instead of the common ones!
ReplyDeleteBecause we do see them so rarely, I always enjoy what I can see but it's those rare sightings of other species that are extremely interesting. Thanks Ellen :)
DeleteHi Denise,
ReplyDeleteGreylag are a really delightful goose that as you say we have in reasonable numbers in the UK. I was watching some yesterday whilst on duty with the Osprey.
