    1. I don't think it was the fox, could have been the squirrel as they jump onto the table from the birdbath a few feet away :)

  6. Incredible Fox? You probably live somewhere near a forest, so you will have visitors like this! I hope they are friendly always! Be well and have a good weekend!

    1. Our community was built on a heavily wooded area and there are still a lot of trees and open ground nearby, also a creek. I'm sure these foxes have a den not too far away but sightings of them aren't too often.

  7. I can relate to being more happy when you get your sleep. Gibbs started barking around 1:00 this morning and didn't stop. Finally got out of bed at 3:00. I'm in desperate need of sleep.

    1. I agree, beautiful animals! I have heard of their liking for chickens and eggs :0 We don't have any birds nests, only wish. I figured it would be too difficult to have them high enough to be safe, for them and for us as for us. Also, we have snakes in the area so we would have to buy cone baffles. Figured we would just leave the birds to their natural nests and hope for the best. I have seen foxes jump over the neighbors fences every now and again. Agile little things!
