Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!

Deletewe have this bamboo in front of our living room window and it is not heavenly. pretty but is a pest, it comes up every where and no way to rid ourselves of it. it is pretty though
ReplyDeleteSounds invasive! Pretty and yet :)
DeleteThey look almost like those pink peppercorns. So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI never thought of that Angie :)
DeleteThese are very pretty, Denise!
ReplyDeleteThey are indeed Jeanie :)
DeleteVery much so :)
ReplyDeletethe berries are such a beautiful shade of red!! i have only seen "ugly" "intrusive" bamboo!!
ReplyDeleteI have heard it can be very invasive. I read that this particular 'bamboo' isn't a bamboo at all. Not sure where I read that as there were so many online websites I browsed through :)
DeleteSuch a great colour.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly are :)
DeletePlanting regular bamboo trees is a real mistake. they spread like crazy, are hard to root out. This plant is lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you Susan, that's good to know. It is lovely!
DeleteThese heavenly bamboo plants are so lovely with all of the berries. Unfortunately they are quite invasive and are on the list not to plant in Virginia. My dear departed neighbor gifted me some many years ago. They spread underground and became a big problem for us. We worked for years to rid them. It's unfortunate that such a lovely plant is so invasive.
ReplyDeleteThank you Martha Ellen, I am very glad you gave me this information. Some plants can be a complete horror to remove, and it seems that this plant is one of them. I appreciate you sharing your experience with them. I agree, very unfortunate that it is one of those horrors to get rid of.
DeleteLove those red berries.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy new month of March.
All the best Jan
They're beautiful aren't they? Thank you Jan and I wish you the same. All the best :)
