We were told snow was coming this weekend but it turned into steady rain, so we are spending most of our weekend indoors looks like, unless today surprises us. All you lovely people who are having bad weather, take good care of yourselves and stay warm.
This is a recently completed jigsaw puzzle from off my iPad. I love the expression on that little dog’s face.
I also found this sweet illustration on pixabay.com. I can’t remember the last time I built a snowman.
It really is lovely - keep warm and it's 29.1 degC down here today - just lovely, doing nothing of course :)
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful Margaret! It was 9 deg. C here today.
DeleteWe have been having lots of rain too...today it's much colder, so no rain, hopefully. Have a lovely day, Denise!
ReplyDeleteThank you Angie and I hope you get enough rain but not too much :) You have a lovely day also.
DeleteThe duo in first and 2nd pic are both adorable
ReplyDeleteI thought so too :)
DeleteThat is super cute and did make me smile. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSo glad Sue and thank you for all the smiles you give me :)
DeleteSuch cute pictures. I especially like the first one. We had snow yesterday but not very much accumulation. They said 1-3" but I don't think we even got 1"
ReplyDeleteGlad you didn't get a lot of snow Ann :) I love the snow but it is so hard to dig cars out of heavy snowfalls.
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteLove the puzzles, the doggie is adorable. Take care , have a great day and a wonderful week!
Thank you Eileen, they certainly are :) I wish you the same.
DeleteWe hardly get enough snow these days to build a snowman. I would like a good old-fashioned winter, but I doubt that is ever going to happen again. We get more rain than snow and cold weather is but a memory.
ReplyDeleteHello David, I hope you get your snow :) Not sure what part of Canada you are in.
DeleteThese pictures are adorable, the puppy is soooo cute! Hopefully the weather is better today by you! Hope you have an amazing New Year!

Hello Midori and welcome to my blog. I shall be visiting you also very soon I hope :) Thank you for leaving your link xoxo
Deletethe last time I built a snowman was they year I was 12. that makes it 67 years ago. wow! beautiful illustrations and love the snowpup
ReplyDeleteI think the last time I built one was when our son was very young and that's been at least 30 plus years ago. I may have replaced a stick arm in ones I walked by since then :) Glad you enjoyed.
DeleteHappy New Year to you and yours, Denise! I'm always happy when it doesn't snow … since I love the rain instead. But snowmen do make it tempting. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you too Penelope :) I love the rain and I love the snow but am glad I am retired and can hunker down if I need to. Always remember when it took hubby 11 hours to make a distance of three or four miles several years ago, in one of the worst snowstorms we have ever had. Empathy is always with those who are still out there trying to get home. Fortunately, nothing like that has happened for a long time now and hope it stays that way.
DeleteLove the expressions on the faces of the dog and children. I cannot remember when I last made a snowman. We finally have a light covering of snow which arrived late yesterday, now looking out the window there are a few more flakes wafting down.
ReplyDeleteHappy you enjoyed :) I hope the snow stays light for you too.
DeleteJigsaw puzzles are a good entertainment when it's too cold to go out and about. I'm sure we shall get snow here in the UK before the end of the Winter. Take care, Stay warm indoors.
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda, they certainly are and I always enjoy finding that next piece. You take care and stay warm also :)
DeleteCiao!
DeleteThank you for this companionable. Burst of feel good, Denise. Aloha
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome Cloudia :) I'm so glad, thank you and Aloha!
DeleteThis post definitely made me smile, thank you :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
So glad Jan, thank you and all the best to you too :)
DeleteDarling puzzle, Denise. Looks like the rains came to us as well. I love snow! It always sends a hush over the world. Stay warm and cozy, my friend!
ReplyDeleteI loved it Martha Ellen :) That hush you speak of sounds lovely. I wonder when or if we will be getting snow this year? You stay warm and cozy too my friend.
DeleteSo cute! Wishing you a great 2024!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much and I wish you the same :)
DeleteSweet images. We had rain instead of snow on Friday and Saturday and then we finally got a little snow in the wee hours of Sunday. They are threatening us with a whole lot more this week. Time will tell. Happy new week to you.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ellen and I am going to be looking forward to your snow pictures :) Happy new week to you also.
DeleteThat snowman and dog photo -- simply adorable!
ReplyDeleteSo happy you enjoyed Jeanie, thank you :)
DeleteThe dog in the jigsaw is adorable. (I've never tried doing a digital jigsaw.)
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of the two children with the snowman as well.
We were also supposed to have snow on Saturday, but it turned into heavy rain all day instead.
Thank you Sandra, happy you enjoyed. I love my digital jigsaw. I hope you got our nice weather today :)
DeleteSweet pictures! Our weather today is just crummy, cold hard rain.
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda, yes I think we had the same weather. Truly crummy and cold!
DeleteI like these. We have snow on the ground and more coming tonight.
ReplyDeleteSo glad and I am looking forward to seeing your photos :)
