A RANDOM FLOWER TO BRIGHTEN A CHILLY DAY

These are called Yellow Bells, botanical name Tecoma stans.  You may also know them by the name Yellow trumpetbush, Yellow elder, Esperanza, Yellow trumpetflower or Ginger-thomas.

It is native to the southern United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, Peru and Ecuador.

I found it several years ago. All I can remember is that we were on a road trip traveling across the south. I have long forgotten which one I saw them in.  Right now they remind me of warmth and sunshine.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day!
