HORSES IN OUR AREA

We pass this place often.   This time, with no traffic behind us or in front of us, I asked if we could stop and take a few photos.   I have shared before but it was a while ago.

"The essential joy of being with horses is that it brings us in contact with the rare elements of grace, beauty and fire."

~Sharon Ralls Lemon~

"Somewhere in time's own space
There must be some sweet pastured place
Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow
Some paradise where horses go,
For by the love that guides my pen
I know great horses live again.

~Stanley Harrison~

  2. Horses are so smart and beautiful. I have one, my Misfire. She is around 25 best we can figure. She is set in her ways, we don't ride her, she just hangs out. Beautiful pics. I need to take some pics next time I go see Misfire and share the farm with you guys.........horses and PIGs and all!

  9. Hi Denise and another lovely post, love the horses but unfortunately horses never seem to like me, they invariably tend to give me a quick bite on the shoulder. Hope you liked my Barn Owls. All the best, John

    1. Oh my goodness John, sorry to hear that. For all our love of the animal and bird kingdom, it comes as a bit of a shock when we don't get our love for them returned in kind. Loved your Barn Owls John, thanks for letting me know about them. Super photography!!! All the best, Denise :)
