EYES TO THE SKIES...

He was keeping his eyes open to see if he could find any birds for me at the garden.  However, apart from a few Canada Geese which I always welcome, I didn't take any photos of any other feathered friends. They proved elusive!  Maybe next time.

There were lots of other things to see and I am putting together a post to be shared very soon.  I haven't had much time for the computer, so am a bit slow getting one done.

Thank you for the many comments you have been leaving.  Always a lovely part of blogging reading them, and visiting your blogs which always gives me a smile.

The tin frog above has been a part of Meadowlark Gardens for many years.  He resides in the children's garden and you may remember him from other posts.  If I could find one like him I would be tempted to put him in our own garden.  He has become like an old dear friend I visit whenever I get over there.

Thanks for always stopping by.  I hope your upcoming weekend will be happy and healthy, and that you will enjoy the rest of your week.

    1. I agree Margaret :) I have always enjoyed frogs, since I was a little girl and used to bring them home for my mom to see. She was thrilled, lol! I had to take them straight back.

  4. I appreciate your blog posts and comments on my blog. (Often I get behind reading and commenting due to some busyness at home or trying to produce a blog post). The frog is very cute. It's nice to visit places and see 'old friends' in the garden ornaments there.

  7. Hello Denise,
The tine frog is cute. I have been out many times when the birds are elusive, but nature provides many things to see if we look. Take care, enjoy your day!

  8. Of course, our fondness for frogs (and penguins) is known, Denise, so this one would be perfect except for two things, we no longer have a garden and the cost is a tad high😕 Still it’s nice that it’s always a welcoming sight on your garden visits. And yes we all get behind with blog reading as life has other plans many times.

  9. That tin frog has such terrific personality! I know what you mean about elusive birds! The only ones I seem to see at the lake are geese, ducks and the heron. Perhaps the others are all flying high above my view!

  11. I love that darling frog, Denise! Reminds me to always be on the lookout for the beauty that surrounds me. I must admit to being a little afraid when I'm startled in the garden by one, though. He looks to be of the friendly sort! Have a nice weekend.

    1. Couldn't have put it better myself Martha Ellen. I haven't seen any frogs in our garden for a long time. There have been sightings of snakes in the area, that might account for it. You have a nice weekend also :)

  13. I love garden ornaments, they are almost as nice as the real plants, and the children's gardens are usually full of them.

Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.

I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
