And they all had a jolly good time. At the end, the Minutes read, "There will be no Oolong or Pomegranate Tea served at any of the bird group meetings. The creek is just across the street which we can dip our beaks into afterwards. There will also be no jokes told to distract us."
"What about a glass of wine?" said Connor the Cardinal.
A resounding "Nope!" came the reply.
Being a bit of a rebel, Connor said to himself, “Well, I am sure I can sneak some in every now and again, just to liven things up a bit. I think this lot needs a little dancing on the tables occasionally.” Connor was fun and everyone liked him, but he was a wee bit naughty and what you might call a lovable scoundrel. We will have to keep an eye on him.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy your tea or wine, or dipping your beak into the creek.
Birdies, you are so lucky that you have this stop on your flights to refresh yourself. And now you have very respectable names as well! And Godwyn, it really is time to get a move on! You don't want to be left behind!
