I am always taking photos of dogs on their walks. Sometimes you can tell by body language, both human and canine, that their human will enjoy telling you about a furry family member and will give their names. Other times, some might appear skittish, and others were not turned in my direction, and then some were in a hurry to get somewhere, which usually means owners and dogs are fast walking. I would not attempt to interrupt their momentum. These were those photos of dogs that did not stop to chat, but at least I got a photo on the fly.

DOGS WALKING THEIR HUMANS
“A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.”
“No one appreciates the very special genius of your conversation as much as the dog does.”
“Everyone thinks they have the best dog. And none of them are wrong.”
~W.R. Purche~
“A dog teaches a boy fidelity, perseverance, and to turn around three times before lying down.”
Thanks for visiting and
I hope your day is a great one.

Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!

Your photos are exceptional considering they were on the fly. The second dog is so cute, and it looks like his fur was rofessionaly styled!

Muito obrigado :) Um abraço e um bom fim de semana :)
DeleteLove the dogs, all of them and also love those boots at the end and would have a pair if i could wear them.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra, I have to say, those boots caught my eye only when I cropped the photo to maintain the human's identify :) They are very smart looking.
DeleteI rode my bike for 47000 km and met and passed thousands of walkers with dogs. It was always interesting that the dogs knew I was coming long before the humans knew.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, that was quite a ride Red :) and how very interesting.
DeleteGood ones
ReplyDeleteThank you Christine :)
DeleteYou got some great photos on your walk, Denise. I am such a dog person, and have had dogs all my life - mostly Golden Retrievers, but other kinds of dogs as well. My favorite dog when I was a little girl was a Dachshund named Cinnamon. I love the delightful quotes you shared along with your pictures.

Thanks Sheri, it was a lucky day for doggy photos :) So glad you enjoyed my post. Lovely memories of the dogs in your life, especially Cinnamon.
DeleteOh Denise, these are precious. I miss my dog in Australia so much, last said goodbye in Feb 2020 never thinking the pandemic would stop us from returning for so long!
ReplyDeleteThank you Wren and I do hope you get to see your sweet dog very soon :)
DeleteHi Wren and thank you. I have been trying to leave comments on your blog and an e-mail but spots were greyed out and wouldn't publish anything I wrote. Sorry about that, I will keep trying.
DeleteIt never ceases to amaze me how many breeds there are not counting all those mixed mutts! Cute pics!
ReplyDeleteI agree, it is amazing. Thank you :)
DeleteHi Linda and thank you :) Glad you liked both the dogs and the quotes.

ReplyDeleteThat's great Yogi and I agree whole heartedly with what you said :) I grew up with dogs my whole life, cats and rabbits. Our last beloved pet passed on many years ago and it never gets any easier.

DeleteNice series of dog pics and great quotes you selected to accompany them, Denise. I never photograph pets for no particular reason.
ReplyDeleteThank you Beatrice :) glad you enjoyed them. I'm always taking pictures of them. Thankfully many people enjoy it too when asked permission, except for those that are marching forward when I don't get a chance, and then I take a bit of a liberty when the timing is right :)
DeleteRewarding and delightful post. Good blogger!
ReplyDeleteThank you Cloudia, you have made my day :)
