DOGS WALKING THEIR HUMANS

I am always taking photos of dogs on their walks.  Sometimes you can tell by body language, both human and canine, that their human will enjoy telling you about a furry family member and will give their names.  Other times, some might appear skittish, and others were not turned in my direction, and then some were in a hurry to get somewhere, which usually means owners and dogs are fast walking. I would not attempt to interrupt their momentum.  These were those photos of dogs that did not stop to chat, but at least I got a photo on the fly.

“A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.”
“No one appreciates the very special genius of your conversation as much as the dog does.”
“Everyone thinks they have the best dog. And none of them are wrong.”
~W.R. Purche~
“A dog teaches a boy fidelity, perseverance, and to turn around three times before lying down.”

Thanks for visiting and
I hope your day is a great one.

  1. Your photos are exceptional considering they were on the fly. The second dog is so cute, and it looks like his fur was rofessionaly styled!

    1. Hi Sandra, I have to say, those boots caught my eye only when I cropped the photo to maintain the human's identify :) They are very smart looking.

  10. I rode my bike for 47000 km and met and passed thousands of walkers with dogs. It was always interesting that the dogs knew I was coming long before the humans knew.

  11. You got some great photos on your walk, Denise. I am such a dog person, and have had dogs all my life - mostly Golden Retrievers, but other kinds of dogs as well. My favorite dog when I was a little girl was a Dachshund named Cinnamon. I love the delightful quotes you shared along with your pictures.
