LOVE...

She sprouted love like flowers,

Grew a garden in her mind,

And even on the darkest days,

From her smile the sun still shined.

  1. How beautiful, both the poem and the photo. The photo is especially gorgeous, and looks like you did quite a bit of fancy editing.

    1. Thanks Anni :) and yes, very much thinking about the people of Ukraine every day. I have also been reading some very heartwarming stories about those who are helping, piles of donated items collected. Many Polish people opening up their homes for those who have crossed the border. Another story of a man who runs a pub in England, who loaded up his van full of donated items and literally drove to the Ukrainian/Polish border to drop them off. He also saw thousands of people waiting for buses, and drove many to places of safety. Now people want to join him and he is starting a convoy. Many good people around to lift one's spirits, a wonderful reminder of how many good people there are in the world who are helping their fellow man. This humanity is very heartwarming.

“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” ― Fred Rogers
