Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!

DeleteLovely photos and clever clogs for knowing all the bird names.
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane, for the clever clogs comment and the memory it brings back from childhood :)
DeleteTerrific bird shots. Thanks to technology, I was able to explore a bit of Huntley Meadows via a short online video. What a lovely place to wander. It is good to see such environmental treasures available for us to visit.
ReplyDeleteThank you Penelope, I am always thanking this technology. I am happy you found an online video so that you know what it looks like. It is my hope that I can see as many of these places as I can.As you say, environmental treasures :)

DeleteI love the lighting in all these photos and the Mrs Cardinal is my favorite.. beautiful photos of beautiful birds.
ReplyDeleteIt was a very bright day that day. Mrs. Cardinal is a beauty isn't she? Not as flash as the bright Red Cardinal but really lovely in her more muted colors. Thank you Sandra :)

DeleteHi Denise,
ReplyDeleteAlways fond of the Cardinals, both Male and female, and the Red-winged Blackbird is such a beauty, wonderful images, Huntley Meadows appears to be a good birding area.
All the best,
John
It is a wonderful birding area John and I see many people with binoculars looking up at the trees. All the best to you too :)
DeleteI have always liked seeing the female cardinal, even though the male usually gets most of the attention solely due to coloration.
ReplyDeleteI agree Dorothy, I have always thought she was a realy beauty with her muted colors, so delicate.
DeleteBeautiful photos of these birds, Denise!
