We recently acquired an old family photo of hubby's great aunt. She is the lady who is the mother in this photo. We don't know the exact year it was taken, but we are guessing the late 1920's/early 1930s.

ReplyDeleteAn amazing quote and a very special photograph.
All the best Jan
So glad you enjoyed the photo and the quote. I collect these special words when I find them good teachers. Thank you Jan, all the best to you too.
DeleteThe photograph was taken just prior to my birth......Ooooooh HELP! When I look at the old photographs I always think how elegant ladies looked when they sat for the photographer.
ReplyDeleteThey do look rather elegant don't they? And yes, I was thinking along the same lines myself regarding how quickly time has gone by.
