Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!

Thank you baili, it is very nice to have a kindred spirit who enjoys the rain :)
DeleteCount me in. We are too often in drought and I LOVE the scent of rain-washed air. The garden loves it too.
ReplyDeleteI am always thankful for the rain EC. I hope you get some soon.
DeleteThat is a new word to me! Nice graphic.
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda :)
Deletei love the way you have edited this shot.
ReplyDeleteThank you Margaret :)
DeletePluviophile? Never come across that before. It doesn't apply to me now but as a young teenager I loved to go out singing in the rain!
ReplyDeleteIt was a new one on me too Valerie. I would have loved to see you singing in the rain :)
DeleteThat's me! I didn't know that word but fits perfectly. :) Thank you.
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome P. Nice to meet yet another kindred spirit :)
DeleteBeautiful picture. Pluviophile - I just learned a new word today. When I was a teenager, I love walking in the rain without an umbrella! My sister called me crazy! But it was so much fun then!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy, I liked to walk in the rain without an umbrella when I was young too. But now I like my brolly :)
Deletelove the pic and had no idea the word Pluviophile existed. I am the opposite of that and rain makes me sad and crazy and I don't go out in it if I don't have to... that is why I love the sunshine state... wonder what the word is for love sunshine. I am off to find out... hold on...I found it, a lover of sunshine is a heliophile, thanks for the lesson
ReplyDeleteYou're in the right place then Sandra. Florida is certainly the sunshine state :) And now you've taught me a new word, heliophile. I love learning new words, thank you :)

ReplyDeleteI am counting my blessings and my kindred spirits Linda, thank you :)
DeleteThis is so cute. I rather like rainy days too. Then I don't have to water the plants.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kay, and isn't that the truth? We don't have to worry about watering our garden plants :)
DeleteLove this photo and the new word to me as well.
ReplyDeleteI am having huge WiFi problems so if I go AWOL you know what has happened!!
Take care Diane
Thank you Diane, and I do hope your wifi problems sort themselves out very quickly :)
DeleteHi Denise and a new word to me, with our weather at the moment we hopefully have plenty living over here for the last week or two. All the best. John
ReplyDeleteHi John, do hope your rain lets up soon. All the best to you too, Denise :)
DeleteI love how you've created a very happy rainy day picture, Denise though we see enough rain here for me to say I am definitely not a pluviophile!
ReplyDeleteChristine, I understand. Too much of anything can be trying.
DeleteSo lovely mix of aspects in your picture!! I like rain and I'm hoping to see some drops, soon... august is so warm, in these days! *-* A very pleasant day and week, too! Alexa
ReplyDeleteThank you Alexa. I hope you get that much needed rain :)
DeleteNeeded rain, indeed!! :) :) thank you, too!
DeleteThank you Alexa :)
DeleteI'd kind of prefer the rain to fall between midnight and six in the morning, though I suppose there would be drawbacks to that happening only then.
ReplyDeleteThey will probably be able to do that one day :)
DeleteWow ... this is different.
ReplyDeleteI love how you've done it!
All the best Jan
Thank you Jan, I'm happy you liked it. All the best to you too :)
DeleteThat would be me...I always loved picking apples in the rain!
ReplyDeleteNow that sounds lovely :)
DeleteI love walking in summer rain! I love the feel of it on my face....I never use and umbrella either. When I used them and worked I lost so many, leaving them behind so I just stopped. But..I do carry several large ones in my car for whomever needs or wants.
ReplyDeleteWe have several umbrellas for guests too.
DeleteI love your photo Denise, it made me smile :D)
ReplyDeleteThank you Sue, so glad :)
