To refresh why I started my quiz questions and answers, in the earlier part of the year I was cleaning out old storage boxes and found a general knowledge trivia quiz book. I thought it might be fun to do a monthly quiz post. (This information is for those who have popped in for the first time, or might not do so on a regular basis. Several of you who have been following along for several months now, have told me how much they enjoy them. Thank you so much for letting me know.)
This is just for a lark and no worries if we don't know the answers. They will be there the following day. Hopefully you will find it enjoyable to pick up some trivia.
A memory, which brings back lots of times down at the local pub once a week when they had their quiz nights. The last time was on a visit to my old home in Devonshire. We went out one night with dear friends. Absolutely loved being with our friends, always like no time has passed since we last met, and it was a such a fun night. So here you go...
How many bones are there in the human body?
How many bones are there in a human foot?
Do any mammals fly?
How many quills does a porcupine have?
How does a porcupine use its quills?
I will have the answers for you tomorrow.
The only flying mammal I know is a bat. Porcupines use their quills for defense. But they do not shoot them like some people think.ReplyDelete
I have never seen a porcupine in the wild. Perhaps that's just as well :) I'm kidding, I really would enjoy seeing one.Delete
Interesting questions Denise, human body ones I know but the others need to research.ReplyDelete
Thanks Margaret :)Delete
Happy memory of your visit to your old home. Great quiz, thanks for sharing! Take care, enjoy your day!
Thanks Eileen, glad you are enjoying it and hope your day was a good one.Delete

Fun! I can't even think straight right now, too nervous waiting for the final election results.ReplyDelete
I know what you mean Martha, we are sitting here watching the election news right now :)Delete
I'll be checking in to see the answers, Denise. I'm with Ellen, it would be great to be in a pub visiting old friends today!ReplyDelete
I expect you enjoyed an evening at the pub when you were over there Martha Ellen. I was just thinking how nice it would be :) One day!Delete
