THE BIRDS AT WILLIAMSBURG BOTANICAL GARDENS....

Continuing on our walk around the garden, I saw two kinds of birds, a Cardinal that was in the process of molting/growing his feathers back,  and two or three Tufted Titmouse's, all near the birdfeeders.
These are the same kind of birds I get regularly at home but I still love to see their cousins down south.
"It has long been an axiom of mine that the little things are infinitely the most important."
~Sir Arthur Conan Doyle~
 This is definitely bird therapy.
I could sit and watch them for a long time, totally mesmerized.
"You can observe a lot by watching."
~Yogi Berra~
I felt another set of eyes on me and realized I wasn't the only one observing. Who's looking at whom here?
I wonder how long it will take for him to grow his feathers back?

Have a great day and thanks for looking.

  1. I love them! These Titmouse seem a bit bigger than ours. I think birds can have a calming effect on one.

  16. They posed beautifully for you. Thanks for sharing ... this was definitely not a great birding summer for me....I don’t know exactly what happened...I just didn’t get out there enough. So I appreciate your shares even more because of that.

    1. They certainly did Sally. It was fun to take their photos. I'm sure you will be making up for your lack of birds soon. The ones you've shared in the past have been amazing. We were talking to friends the other day and having all been up to Skyline Drive we commented that we rarely see any interesting birds up there, and yet find more in our own backyard. It may be the time of day of course. We're going to have to go out more towards the evening but then the parks are closed.
