A few weeks ago we took a walk along the Boardwalk in Duck, North Carolina. We walked by a lot of shops and as there were fences in many of them, I am linking with Gosia’s Fences Around the World.
I found an article here with a few more photos.
Our little opportunists were flying from table to table to see if there were any crumbs about.
I seem to be all over the place with my posts lately, but I will have more of the boardwalk sometime. It was a really neat place for a walk.
If you would like to see other fences, or join in with your own, you can go here. Thank you for hosting Gosia!

What an awesome and happy walk. I love the stained glass; the flag one is so unusual. You find the BEST walks!!
ReplyDeleteIt was a great walk and there were all kinds of interesting shops as we walked by. Thanks Ginny :)
DeleteA very varied selection. I do love that sunflower themed glass.

Obrigado e gostaria de desejar um feliz fim de semana :)
DeleteOh I do like the fences. Tried to pick a winner but that was impossible. I like the five o'clock somewhere!
ReplyDeleteThank you Valerie, the five o'clock somewhere made me laugh. I remember having traveled a few years back and my body clock was still in my home time but I was having a cocktail at breakfast. I didn't realize the local time until later, so whenever I see that sign it takes me right back to my breakfast drink and I smile :)

ReplyDeleteThe kitty on the bike is wonderful. These decorations are nice. Sparrows are pretty birds, I love those little rascals. Kisses:)
They had a lot of lovely whirligigs and the kitty seemed to be the most popular :) Thank you Lucyna. Kisses also :)
DeleteHello, the boardwalk looks nice. I love the stained glass and flags. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you Eileen, the stained glass really took my eye, and the flag windsock. Happy weekend to you too :)
Deletebeautiful photos, i love those stained glass hanging art. and the flag is wonderful.. lots to see on this walk and all of it beautiful... except of course a town named DUCK? hummmm have to think about that one
ReplyDeleteThank you Sandra :) I love stained glass art whether it is something like this or in one of the churches I go to. I grew up loving the stained glass windows in my local church and have been in love with them ever since. Duck is so named because of all the ducks in the area, especially those migrating ones from north to south and vice versa. I will go into more detail when I do a post on Duck later.
DeleteWhat a great place to walk and take in some interesting sights.
ReplyDeleteIt was, thank you Red :)

Thank you Jan, the same to you :)
DeleteDenise, I wasn't so much looking at those fences, but at all the artwork. And, it's OK to be all over the place as it makes things interesting.
ReplyDeleteHard not to miss the art work Dorothy :) And thank you on the all over the place comment :)
DeleteAwesome walk-about. I loved seeing the art & whirly-gigs (the cardinal especially) and the pelican stained glass.
ReplyDeleteThank you Anni, glad you enjoyed it all :)
DeleteI agree the fences may have been the inspiration but the art work is the star and that's the beauty of blogging isn't it? One thing leads to another :)
ReplyDeleteHave a happy weekend.
Wren x
Yes, the art is definitely the star but it's nice to get those fences in also :) Happy weekend to you too :) x

Obrigado! Gostaria também de desejar um bom domingo :)
DeleteI found your link on the Fences Around the World blog.
ReplyDeleteI retired from the big city where every house has a fence. I now live where I can actually see my neighbor's house. I don't have to peep through a knot hole to see what they are doing. And we are still friends.
I like the fence pictures you posted. Especially the one with the sign that says,"Life Is Good!"
That's nice that you are good friends. So glad you liked the photos. Thank you for visiting :)
