HAPPY HALLOWEEN



I made a plain version below.  It is a card I made to thank you for making this blogging world such a pleasure to be a part of.  If any of you would like it, please feel free to copy and use elsewhere.  

And don't forget if you are driving, watch out for all those Trick-o-Treaters out there tonight, especially during those twilight hours.

    I love it!! The spider web looks like a lacy doily. Will you get many trick-or-treaters?

      Hi Ginny, the numbers go down as the children grow up. We go in cycles. We had may 30 last Halloween. Will your granddaughters be going out?

    Happily I will stay indoors where I shall feel safe. The noise of fireworks where I live is always tremendous and scary. Charlie the cat won't like it either. Hope you enjoy the celebrations.

      I wasn't sure if it was celebrated in the UK Valerie. It wasn't when I was over there. I remember the fireworks on the 5th November but none on other occasions. We always used to turn the radio on high for our pets.

    It does not seem to be celebrated here or certainly not in our sleepy little hamlet :-) You have made a good job though. Take care Diane

      Thank you Diane, it is quite populr here. We don't decorate or celebrate it ourselves but we do hand out candy to the children in the early evening. You take care too.

    Wishing you a Happy Halloween as well, Denise. I noticed that you had the date 2016 in the top card and wondered if it was from last year. Either way, I enjoyed both versions. We do get trick or treaters at the mill arts but youngsters are only supposed to knock on apt doors with special hangtags provided by the office. We are not at home this year, so don't know how many there would have been at our door.

      Thank you Dorothy, the 2016 is on the title of my blog. I can understand the confusion. That is a good idea about the tags on apartment doors. People who are not participating usually keep their front lights off here. We didn’t have as many kids this year so have lots of candy left over. Not good for someone who rarely eats it but who loves chocolate, gets bad headaches shortly after eating it and tomorrow will avoid it again for another year :)

    ooooh this is a fun, versatile blog...i always enjoy my visits here. i did not have a lot of visitors but the ones i did have were wonderful. sweet kids, great costumes!! thanks for the card!!
