Added note since hearing the news:
We are greatly saddened to hear about yesterday’s latest dreadful attack in Manhattan. My heart goes out for all the families who lost loved ones, for the lives that were taken too soon, and for those who were injured. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
May the sun bring you new energy by day
May the moon softly restore you by night
May the rain wash away your worries
May the breezes blow new strength into your being
May you walk gently through the world
And know its beauty all the days of your life

When will it end...
ReplyDeleteHeartbreaking. And yes, my thoughts are with everyone who is affected.
When indeed?
DeleteSuch terrible news.
ReplyDeleteHeartbreaking!
DeleteHorrifying...
ReplyDeleteVery much so.
DeleteAmen to that x
ReplyDeleteYes indeed Valerie.
DeleteSo sad, what is the world coming to.
ReplyDeleteVery sad Margaret.
DeleteHello, my prayers go out to the victims in the NYC attack. The quote and words are lovely. Have a happy Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteThank you Eileen, very much so, they need all our prayers today.
DeleteYes, Denise, a terrible event by yet another copycat using a vehicle to take innocent lives. It’s somewhat a pity these terrorists are not made to suffer the same way they so easiky take lives.
ReplyDeleteIt is all very sad Dorothy.
DeleteThank you for that lovely blessing!
ReplyDeleteYou are so very welcome Cloudia.
Deletebeautiful quote, I love the sun, the moon the rain and the breezes, and I love the sun the most of all.
ReplyDeleteMe too Sandra :)
DeleteA difficult day. Your quote is quite appropriate for it.
ReplyDeleteThank you William.
DeleteThat's a beautiful quote, enough to allay our fears and anxieties.
ReplyDeleteThat was my intent.
DeleteOh my, I love this poem! I am manager of our church prayer line, and I will read this to the church! And you chose the perfect picture t go with it. You took this picture? Truly beautiful! It bespeaks of total freedom. Yes, I believe the world is getting more and more evil.
ReplyDeleteI'm very touched you want to share the poem with your church Ginny. Yes I took the picture, of seagulls in California. I have a great fondness for them. They put me in my happy place whenever I see them soar. I still have hope for the world, I guess I always will, even with the evil there is in it. This has been going on for hundreds of years, we just hear about everything everywhere instantly. In the meantime we must always have hope. I'm getting off my soapbox now :)
DeleteGood advice. We have to walk much more softly on this planet.
ReplyDeleteWe do, couldn’t have put it better.
DeleteSo sad and one never knows when it is going to happen next. Targeting citizens is just the worst. Take care Diane
ReplyDeleteI agree Diane.
