For oft, when on my couch I lie,
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with
Pleasure fills, and
Dances with the
Daffodils.
Many will recognize that this is the first verse of William Wordsworth's
famous poem. You can read more about its history in you go here.
That should have read ‘the last verse’ which I actually knew but there you go.
Thanks Kay!
My favorite icon lately!
I have a feeling you will be seeing her again.
