Part of the fun of enjoying the good weather, is seeing our canine friends enjoying it too.
Dogs make every walk an adventure, don't they?
Each human parent might say, "My dog and I go out for a walk, and it's plain for all to see, that it's really not me who is walking the dog, it's the dog who is out walking me."
One last quote:
"Why does watching a dog be a dog fill one with happiness?"
We were at the garden yesterday and I was delighted to see several dogs on their walks. We were able to take photos of a few.
I was also delighted that it got up to 77 degrees F. (25 degrees C). As I type this on 3-11-26, I can tell you it reached 84 (29 in celcius). I was just told it is going down to 35 tonight (2 degs. C), and snow is expected. What on earth? Mother Nature is playing a joke, I think.
Thanks for stopping by and
I hope your weather is being kind to you
and not playing a joke on you too.

That sure is a big jump in temperature. We are still having summer temps this week slightly cooler at night. Love all your doggy photos. We have been watching a TV series called Dog Park. It is an Australian show and nothing to write home about but it is an interesting concept including the variety of humans in the dog park and how they interact.
ReplyDeleteAfter snowing until midafternoon, it finally stopped. I like the sound of your Dog Park. I bet that's a fun one :)
DeleteGood to see the dogs walking their owners. The temp is rather warm Denise, warmer than here but the night time temperature is brrr... weird weather all around.
ReplyDeleteIt always is and a like seeing them around here. We all seem to be having some wacky weather, don't we Margaret?
DeleteMarch and April weather is always unstable..sometimes you experienced 4 seasons in a day..
ReplyDeleteVery true and they always say don't plant anything new until May?
DeleteThe weather here was almost 80. Supposed to snow tonight, but it is after midnight and still 70!! The second dog is my favorite, maybe a Lab.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, we're all having wacky weather! I think you're right on the dog :)
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThe warm weather was nice, I was out walking Miney.
Miney says she likes to walk me too.
Take care, enjoy your day!
That's lovely Eileen, I'm sure Miney loves taking you for a walk :))) You take care and enjoy your day also.
DeleteI enjoy watching you and your dogs, and you're right, I think many dogs are more like walking their owners.I used to have a dog too, it was so great!
ReplyDeleteLovely dog photos! Here, too, we're having typical April weather – hot and round!
Have a lovely Thursday! hugs Elke
Thank you Elke, I used to have a dog and it was pure joy for me. I miss her even now :) You have a lovely Thursday also, hugs Denise
DeleteDog watching is even more fun than people watching.
ReplyDeleteThe other day I saw a car coming towards me. At first I thought it was a person sticking their head out the sun roof. When I got closer I saw that it was a dog. One very happy looking dog.
I totally agree, and that's lovely! It made me smile :)
Deletejust looking at dogs make me feel happy, not matter what they are doing.. I do love beagles so that made me happy too. we are headed to the 90's and its way to soon for that
ReplyDeleteMe too, they are just so uplifting! :) Beagles are cute, I agree. Wow on the 90s!
DeleteWhen aliens finally arrive on Earth ( or perhaps they are already in Washington) they will think that a leash is part of a dog’s body!
ReplyDeleteGood point David, not when we were growing up but today yes. I rarely see a dog without a leash.
DeleteWe, too, are experiencing g a big drop in temperature. There is snow in our forecast too. It was nice while it lasted, but Winter hasn’t had its last say.
ReplyDeleteYes, it was nice while it lasted and you are right. I will be interested if you got any snow :)
DeleteLinda, I just tried to leave a comment on your blog but the comment button was greyed out and wouldn’t publish. I will try again later.
DeleteI used my laptop instead of my iPad and was able to leave a comment :)
DeleteNice! We are going back to winter right now.
ReplyDeleteDogs certainly are a part of people's lives!
Looks like many of us are, though our snow has stopped and it is already melting. I agree with you Val, even though I don't have a dog anymore, I am very happy when I see them while out and about. Reading about them like when I visit with you, Charlie and Hannah. I always leave smiling :)
DeleteI deeply miss having dogs. Our weather is also jumping up and down.
ReplyDeleteI still miss having them Sandra. The weather can't make it's mind up lately :)
DeleteLovely fun post by you and your photojournalist Gregg.
ReplyDeleteWe have a new puppy across the street. Sadie is mini goldendoodle.
Too cute
Hugs cecilia
Thank you Cecilia, I enjoy Gregg's photos very much :) Sadie sounds really cute :) Hugs, Denise
DeleteFrom 84 to snow--OMGosh!
ReplyDeleteDogs to keep owners walking and bending--lol! ;)
Yes, talk about a weather related insult ;) Very true and I'm sure you're little cutie keeps you going too :)
DeleteThey look so happy
ReplyDeleteThey have an ora of pure joy surrounding them :)
DeleteDear Denise, I just saw your comment telling me you ordered the book, "Dear Stephanie, Dear Paul". I am tickled!! Please let me know if you love it too, you will, I just know it!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for it to arrive but it's going to be a couple of weeks. It will be worth the wait I know it :) Thanks again Kay, I will definitely let you know if I enjoyed it, and I am convinced I will.
DeleteI want a dog so bad!
ReplyDeleteGosh here in GA it was 50 and MAD winds - felt cold!!!!!!!!!
I know that feeling Sandie, believe me :) It's gone back to be cold here :-0
DeleteI like to encounter dogs and then say, Goodbye.
ReplyDeleteSmiling here John, I like to encounter dogs and wish I could bring everyone of them home :)
DeleteEveryone wants out in the good weather!
ReplyDeleteThat is the truth :)
DeleteLovely photographs by Gregg ...thank you.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thank you Jan and you are very welcome. I enjoyed them also :) all the best, Denise
DeleteLindos perros. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteMuchas gracias, a mí también me parecieron muy monos. Te mando un beso :)
DeleteDogs really do make every walk more fun, and your photos captured that perfectly.
ReplyDeleteThe weather swings sound wild--sunshine one day, snow the next!
Thanks for sharing these lovely moments. 🐶
They certainly do, thank you very much, and you are very welcome :) It was very strange, I have never experienced that extreme before.
Deletelove the pups!! it's called "weather whiplash"...we had it too!!
ReplyDeleteNever heard that expression before but it certainly fits :)
DeleteLovely dogs Denise :-D
ReplyDeleteThank you Ananka, I thought so too :)
DeleteThe weather is quite capricious, but March is renowned for being unpredictable.
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed but this March the weather has been particularly so :) It is very windy today and that is another element they say about March.
DeleteWas very warm here and then back to cold however, the sun is out and about and it's just such a pretty weekend. Love seeing pups out and about as well. So many come with their owners in stores too now. Fun to see.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the same as us. I'm glad you at least got a pretty weekend with that sun shining. I've seen dogs in stores also, but they are usually service dogs, unless it's this one pet store that allows them inside :) that's nice.
DeleteTrue on the service dogs and more so these days I'm seeing non-service dogs. Places like HomeDepot and even the bookstore. Folks just bringing in pets.
DeleteI'm thinking that if they are well-behaved and comfortable going inside, and people don't mind, why not? Restaurants might be a bit tricky, unless it's a service dog. Maybe I should bring my pet bear along sometime. Ups, there I go again. Get thee behind me bear (bear aka wacky imagination, lol)
DeleteNice pictures of the dogs.
ReplyDeleteOur weather is definitely playing games with us in my neck of the woods.
Happy you enjoyed them. The weather is the same here. It's raining this afternoon but that's better than the snow :)
