DOGS AT THE GARDEN

Part of the fun of enjoying the good weather, is seeing our canine friends enjoying it too.

Dogs make every walk an adventure, don't they?

Each human parent might say, "My dog and I go out for a walk, and it's plain for all to see, that it's really not me who is walking the dog, it's the dog who is out walking me."

One last quote:
"Why does watching a dog be a dog fill one with happiness?"

We were at the garden yesterday and I was delighted to see several dogs on their walks. We were able to take photos of a few.

I was also delighted that it got up to 77 degrees F. (25 degrees C). As I type this on 3-11-26, I can tell you it reached 84 (29 in celcius). I was just told it is going down to 35 tonight (2 degs. C), and snow is expected. What on earth? Mother Nature is playing a joke, I think.

Thanks for stopping by and
I hope your weather is being kind to you
and not playing a joke on you too.

  1. That sure is a big jump in temperature. We are still having summer temps this week slightly cooler at night. Love all your doggy photos. We have been watching a TV series called Dog Park. It is an Australian show and nothing to write home about but it is an interesting concept including the variety of humans in the dog park and how they interact.

  7. Dog watching is even more fun than people watching.
The other day I saw a car coming towards me. At first I thought it was a person sticking their head out the sun roof. When I got closer I saw that it was a dog. One very happy looking dog.

  9. When aliens finally arrive on Earth ( or perhaps they are already in Washington) they will think that a leash is part of a dog’s body!

  25. Was very warm here and then back to cold however, the sun is out and about and it's just such a pretty weekend. Love seeing pups out and about as well. So many come with their owners in stores too now. Fun to see.

    1. Sounds like the same as us. I'm glad you at least got a pretty weekend with that sun shining. I've seen dogs in stores also, but they are usually service dogs, unless it's this one pet store that allows them inside :) that's nice.

      Delete
    2. True on the service dogs and more so these days I'm seeing non-service dogs. Places like HomeDepot and even the bookstore. Folks just bringing in pets.

      Delete
    3. I'm thinking that if they are well-behaved and comfortable going inside, and people don't mind, why not? Restaurants might be a bit tricky, unless it's a service dog. Maybe I should bring my pet bear along sometime. Ups, there I go again. Get thee behind me bear (bear aka wacky imagination, lol)
