I heard these words recently and wanted to share. I would love to know your thoughts.
For our international friends to translate:
“Try to banish love to the shadow, it will only reach harder for the sun.”

Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I will not be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
This is a new one to me. Something I have to think about!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ginny :)
DeleteLove thrives in truth. If you try to hide it, it will only push harder to be seen. If you try to push it down, it actually grows stronger. It reaches for expression the way a plant in the shade instinctively stretches toward sunlight.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully put Carrie :) Thank you!
DeleteDear Denise, I also had to think about it for a while, and then I read Carrie's comment, and she described it so wonderfully that I can only nod in agreement, great!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful poem you've included! Thank you! hugs Elke
Hello dear Elke :) that is wonderful! It's the reason why I asked my question, because I always enjoy the thoughtful responses. Thank you so much! Hugs, Denise
DeleteGreat quote, love shines brightly in the light.
ReplyDeleteTake care, enjoy your day!
Thank you Eileen, I thought it was a great quote too. There are some quotes that are so powerful, I feel the need to share them. You take care and enjoy your day also :)
DeleteIt's a nice quote but my brain isn't able to function enough to give more thought about at this moment. I need more coffee first
ReplyDeleteWell, I know how that goes Ann, I need more coffee right now :)
DeleteDeny love but the sun will bring it out - that is my meaning of those words, Denise. Have no idea if that is what those words mean otherwise.
ReplyDeleteA lovely thought Margaret, thank you so much!
DeleteThat's lovely Denise :-D
ReplyDeleteGot a good report from the physio today, things are going in the right direction. Thanks for all your lovely comments :-D
Happy you thought so Anka. You are very welcome and I am so glad your physio went well today. Onward and upward my dear friend :)
DeleteThis is something to think about. Can love die?
ReplyDeleteIt is I agree Christine. I don't like to think so, but I believe it does in the right circumstances. It's important not to let it though.
DeleteTruth.
ReplyDeleteIndeed Regine :)
DeleteIt’s a good metaphor.
ReplyDeleteI agree John, a very good metaphor :)
DeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you thought it beautiful Granny Sue :)
DeleteGod is love and He is light and in Him there is no darkness at all. Darkness cannot overtake His light or His love.
ReplyDeleteI tried to think of a meaning, and got nothing. I read all the comments and still have nothing. my first thought that popped in my head when I read it, was if you tell someone who is in love that the person is not for them, they will keep going and love that person even more
ReplyDeleteVery deep meaning in this one.
ReplyDeleteCarrie's comment is more than anything I could add.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the words...true love never gives up
ReplyDeleteHugs Cecilia
