SWEET BIRD…

Sweet bird, thy bow’r is ever green,

Thy sky is ever clear,

Thou has no sorrow in thy song,

No winter in thy year.

    2. Hi Linda, I have often wondered if you have a blog other than blogger. I see your blogger intro but not a link. Don't want you to think I am not bothered about replying to you as I do enjoy your pop-ins :)

  2. Wow! Short but powerful!!! Birds do not know enough to be sad and cannot worry about the future. Too bad we cannot be a bit like that. Gorgeous photo!

    1. It is, very much. So much part of taking a photo is being in the right place at the right time. Our weather, after a light snow, is disappearing fast into sunshine. Driveways and pathways are already clear as the snow has melted, happy to say. Thank you Cecilia, Hugs, Denise

  8. These few lines make us think about more than ourselves. This poet didn't live very long. If he'd lived longer we may have had more poetry like this.
