A beautiful sky!  Yesterday we went by The Old Stone House.  There is an article on its history at this link.

  1. What an amazing photo. There is nothing anywhere around it. Reminds me of the plains, or something from "Little House On The Prairie"

    1. Happy you liked it Ginny. This is part of Manassas Battlefield Park so there isn't building allowed. It does have the feeling of the old TV show, you're right :)

    1. Thanks Ann, its history is amazing :) The park authority keep it in tip-top shape. Very important to save our heritage. I only found out a while ago that I had ancestors who fought on both sides of that war, and even in the Colonial War. Before that I had no idea that any of my relatives from way back had emigrated here.

    1. I never thought of that before Sandra, but you may be spot on. Maybe it's why I love old stone buildings and old churches more than anything that is built today. I grew up being surrounded with them. Thanks my friend :)

    1. Thanks Cecilia, it's one of my favorite places to go to. We used to walk everywhere here, and I loved climbing the hill behind the house. The views are breathtaking.
