    What a gorgeous duck! It looks like a Mallard, but instead of a green head, it is blue! Do you know what it is?

      Unfortunately I don’t Ginny. Like you I guessed a mallard but I forgot to label this photo as being taken in England the last time we were there several years ago. Maybe one of our blogging buddies friends could identify it for us :)

    per google search it is a mallard, but the mallards with blue heads are rare. beautiful.

    Pretty!! I'm thinking mallard. Its dark plumage is only the lighting (Imo)
