OLD DECK CAMERA PHOTOS OF THE BIRDS

I will be setting up the deck camera soon but in the meantime here are three from last year.

Today we have a Mourning Dove, a Cardinal, maybe a juvenile, and a Red-headed Woodpecker with a Blue Jay at the back.

    Favorite is the dove. He sure looks pudgy from this angle, so cute!

    Capturing the birds on the feeder with the deck camera is entertaining. You must get to know them well. It's thrilling to see your birds that are so different from ours. Love them all. Looking forward to seeing more of this season's birds.

      Hi Linda, thank you :) I feel the same way whenever I travel, even in the US when we road trip. Some birds are very different to what we can get here.

      I got the idea of buying one when I saw that Eileen from Viewing Nature with Eileen had one. At least I think so, it's been a while now and Eileen would have to correct me if I am wrong. Thanks Sandi, glad you enjoyed :)

    denise, you are so generous with your deck rail food offerings. i don't offer as much because the squirrels always find it and eat it all up!! these pictures are awesome!! this is a good time to pull from the archives until we can get out regularly!! our restrictions have been lifted some and we had a great weekend outdoors!!

    i am looking forward to seeing new pictures once you set up the camera again!!

      Hi Debbie, must admit when the camera comes out I tend to put a little more feed out there. Also I love the squirrels as much as I do the birds so they are always welcome even if they are greedy little things. There always seems to be enough for the two, even when the crows descend :)

    I would LOVE to have a camera like this (maybe I could find out just WHO steals the orange halves I set out for the birds. (I think it's a opossum)
