I will be setting up the deck camera soon but in the meantime here are three from last year.
Today we have a Mourning Dove, a Cardinal, maybe a juvenile, and a Red-headed Woodpecker with a Blue Jay at the back.
I hope you are having a good start to the week. Thanks for stopping by.
Just beautiful. I look forward to this year's visitors.
ReplyDeleteThanks EC, I am too :)
DeleteThat is some smorgasbord for birds.
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane, there was a little bit extra there I must admit.
DeleteFavorite is the dove. He sure looks pudgy from this angle, so cute!
ReplyDeleteHe is a cutie, especially like the sunlight on him. Thanks Ginny :)
DeleteCapturing the birds on the feeder with the deck camera is entertaining. You must get to know them well. It's thrilling to see your birds that are so different from ours. Love them all. Looking forward to seeing more of this season's birds.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, thank you :) I feel the same way whenever I travel, even in the US when we road trip. Some birds are very different to what we can get here.
DeleteAwesome birds!!
ReplyDeleteI agree Anne, always love them.
DeleteLove the first photograph.
ReplyDeleteHope you are bearing up under the enforced strain.
Hi Valerie, doing surprisingly well considering. Thank you, and I hope you are the same.
DeleteFantásticas estas fotos.

DeleteHello, love the closeups photos of your birds. The last shot of the woodie is great. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteHappy you enjoyed the birds and particularly the Woodie. Thanks Eileen and I wish you the same :)
DeleteThis camera is such a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI got the idea of buying one when I saw that Eileen from Viewing Nature with Eileen had one. At least I think so, it's been a while now and Eileen would have to correct me if I am wrong. Thanks Sandi, glad you enjoyed :)
Deletedenise, you are so generous with your deck rail food offerings. i don't offer as much because the squirrels always find it and eat it all up!! these pictures are awesome!! this is a good time to pull from the archives until we can get out regularly!! our restrictions have been lifted some and we had a great weekend outdoors!!
ReplyDeletei am looking forward to seeing new pictures once you set up the camera again!!
Hi Debbie, must admit when the camera comes out I tend to put a little more feed out there. Also I love the squirrels as much as I do the birds so they are always welcome even if they are greedy little things. There always seems to be enough for the two, even when the crows descend :)
DeleteI would LOVE to have a camera like this (maybe I could find out just WHO steals the orange halves I set out for the birds. (I think it's a opossum)
ReplyDeleteGreat shares. Looking forward to this year.
Now you have my curiosity peeked Anni, an outside camera would definitely reveal the culprit :) Thank you and I'll get myself organized with that camera real soon.
Deletethese shots amaze me... love them all
ReplyDeleteThank you Sandra, so glad! :)
