As I look at the leaves turning and falling around us, I realize Autumn is on its way.
These mums were for sale at the supermarket.
Ornamental peppers also.
I love this color combination.

sooooooo beautiful, love all the colors...
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandra :)
DeleteThese look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine :)
DeleteLovely colours!
ReplyDeleteThanks William :)
DeleteHi Denise,
ReplyDeleteSame over here with Autumn, our summer visiting birds have all virtually headed south for Africa, lucky things. I'm not an Autumn or Winter person.
Lovely blaze of colour, at least that reminds us of Summer.
All the best, John
Hi John, thank you. I will probably be looking at my flowers in the middle of winter, looking forward to the next growing season :) All the best to you too.
DeleteThe mums are beautiful, Denise, as are the peppers! I like buying the tight budded mums so they last for the season. Love the Horowitz quote. I must write it down. Enjoy a lovely weekend. ♥
ReplyDeleteThank you Martha Ellen :) You have a lovely weekend also :)
DeleteThe red and purple color combinations are beautiful!! And I have never seen purple peppers! I bet they are only decorative and cannot be eaten.
ReplyDeleteAren't they Ginny? Just love them. I believe these are only meant for show, not to be eaten.
DeleteIt really is a glorious season.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is :)
DeleteExcelente trabalho fotográfico, gostei destas belas flores.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom Domingo.

Thank you Francisco and the same to you :)
DeleteHello, love the colorful flowers and peppers. I have seen the leaves falling around here too. Beautiful quote. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and new ahead.
ReplyDeleteThank you Eileen and the same to you :)
DeleteI love the colors of fall esp those peppers! Beautiful. Leaves are getting lighter here, a lot falling but I think that might be lack of rain cause they are laying there all brown. Funny, we have been short on rain but my yard is still pretty and green.....just thankful that it seems to have stopped growing! Haha
ReplyDeleteGreat attitude Pam :)
DeleteDenise, wonderful display of mums. Horowitz has defined Autumn correctly. Look forward to the leaves changing. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks Doug, and you are very welcome :)
DeleteHere in New England, we are anxiously awaiting for the colors of fall to really appear.
ReplyDeleteI am sure you are Dorothy.
DeleteChrysanthemums always make me think of fall. They are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kay, me too :)
DeleteCrysanths always remind me of Autumn. I bought some individual plants to replace the Summer pansies, but the large pots you show are also in the garden section of the supermarkets. They last a long time so I might buy a pot as they're not too expensive and good value.
ReplyDeleteMe too, I always welcome the first sighting of mums in the Autumn.
