BLANKET FLOWERS

A Flower is a Flower

I did not bring you roses
When you searched for something rare,
Instead I brought you daisies
And I hoped you wouldn't care;

And now I look behind me
With a wistful little smile -
You would have taken dandelions
And loved me all the while.

  3. I just love this poem!! Most of the Blanket Flowers here are yellow with red in the center. These are different; red! So pretty, almost exotic looking. And I see the bumble bee! Maybe even two!

    1. I love all flowers but do have my favorites. Roses used to be at the top of the list but since I have been discovering all kinds of flowers/wildflowers in blogging, I now have many :)
