Chipping Sparrow
Catbird
Maybe someone can tell me what this little bird is. He was enjoying the overgrown grasses nearby.
And a bonus shot of a sweet little rabbit.

Dear Denise, I am just getting ready to shut down for the night when your post graced my screen! How beautiful to see all these birds and sweet rabbit! I will sleep better now, and I want to thank you for sharing your lovely photos. I hope you have a great weekend. :)

ReplyDeleteFeathered, and furry enchantment. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSparrow is my favorite is very common in Europe, too
ReplyDeleteNo idea what the little bird is called but he is a little darling. As you know I am definitely a bird fancier though mostly birds in the UK. It doesn't stop me from admiring others, though.
ReplyDeleteALl great shots and I am sure someon from the US will know that little bird. He looks like a young bird to me.
ReplyDeleteHi Denise, great images, the Catbird is a colorful little bird but love the Rabbit, these images really have to be on the spur of the moment, they don't hang about for you. Regards John
ReplyDeleteHello Denise!:) Gorgeous and endearing captures of all these sweet creatures. I'm not sure about the ID, but it could be a juvenile song sparrow!
ReplyDeleteDenise, I'm not sure if I was able to link up with Todays Flowers, and there was no image. Could you help please.
Magnificas fotografias destas belas aves sobre a observação do coelho.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

ReplyDeleteNo idea on the little bird. What a cute wabbit!
ReplyDeleteI was going to guess song sparrow as well. We have one that looks similar hanging around our cabin this fall. - Margy
ReplyDeletesuch sweet portraits!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Chipping Sparrow. The streaky one is a Song Sparrow which may have lost its tail to a predator. They may sometimes actually cast off their tail feathers when attacked by a hawk.
ReplyDeleteHello Denise, love the sweet birds. The bunny is adorable. Awesome photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing you post! Happy Saturday, have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThe mystery bird is either some kind of sparrow or a house finch. They are hard to tell apart. I have never seen a Catbird so fluffed up ad pudgy!! Very pretty. Have you heard them? They do sound like cats! Cute Bunny!!
ReplyDeleteNice bird shots! Love the rabbit!
ReplyDeleteWunderschön die Vogelbilder!!!
ReplyDeleteGruss Elke
Love the chipping sparrow....perhaps the other sparrow that was seen in the grass is a savannah or a song sparrow? They're so difficult to identify, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining in with us birders this weekend at I'd Rather B Birdin'....it's always a pleasure.
