GREAT BLUE HERON

I haven't taken any bird photos this week, so I am sharing these from my archives of a Great Blue Heron fishing.

    I love great blue herons. I'm not a birder but it seems like I see them all over the place.

    Beautiful bird and photos. The Blue Heron is a bit naughty in The Netherlands. Hij looking for garden ponds, where fish swim around. He eats the koi and goldfish

    I love the heron. Two flew over my garden the other day ... such joy to see them so close. They were'e blue heron though, I've only ever seen the grey.

    Hello Denise!:) These are all incredible captures. The one where his head is under water is funny,:) but he got his meal, and then flew off. A great and enjoyable sequence of images.
