Oslo, Norway, July 2014.
This old home from a bygone era was on the grounds of our hotel. There were many of them in other areas we visited, some with the most beautiful carvings on doorways and windows. I loved seeing the grass on the roofs, and sometimes there were wildflowers.
oh, so dark, must be wonderful inside! P.
ReplyDeleteHello Denise, what a cute home. The grass roof is neat. Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week ahead!

Very beautiful to me. I could see myself living in that house with wildflowers on the roof.
ReplyDeleteI love looking to old historical buildings, seeing the history and getting some ideas to use today. I have thought about having grass or a roof top garden on part of my house if I could do it.
ReplyDeleteNorway's on my bucket list!
ReplyDeleteCool looking building.
ReplyDeleteThat is a dramatic picture that looks so good in black and white. I like the grass on the roof. Did you visit that park in Oslo that has so many old houses? Some had grass on the roof. I took many pictures there but still have not done a post.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you frames this shot with the trees and made it B & W. Have a great week ahead.
ReplyDeleteLove that grassy roof!
