SATURDAY MORNING AT THE BIRD FEEDER - THE SQUIRRELS HAD A PARTY

It was wild!

Nope, we're not doing word of the day today.

The American Robins flew in to check out what all the commotion was about.

The Mockingbird turned up for a few seconds.

The Robins turned up with friends and had their own party.

Everyone was all of a tweeter.

The inanimate object was by this time standing upright and wasn't talking, Kissing Bunnies were okay too. Big Bunny is still staying away, but this little guy turned up. Everyone was keeping a close eye on him. He told everyone he was innocent and that he didn't know anything.

I have noticed how you all tip toe and jump over those leaves. We keep sweeping them up and they keep falling. That's why they call it "Fall!"

Tell them they have very good fluffy tails. They would be great for sweeping. All they have to do is waddle backwards!

And that's how it goes at this week's Saturday Morning at the Bird Feeder.

Have a great weekend everyone
and thanks for stopping by for another whimsical tale.

WELL, YOU KNOW I HAD TO SHARE THESE - COMMENTS OFF TODAY

Très chic mes chers petits écureuils

Found these adorables on Pinterest. I could not resist sharing them.

I have been a tad under the weather these last few days. Nothing major, just a winter bug and the doctor gave me antibiotics to work through.

I am way behind visiting and commenting, so have shut the comments off today. Just enjoy and I will be catching up with you soon.

Google translated that first sentence.
“Very chic my dear little squirrels!”

Thanks for stopping by and happy day to you.

ONE MORE COLLECTIBLE TO THE FALL COLLECTION

You may have seen my previous post where I added George to the Fall family. Here is Sophie Squirrel looking very chique in her sun hat, and holding a big acorn which she brought with her. The bird behind her is waiting for a mere morsel. You know how squirrels are but she is new to the family and does not understand what it is to share yet.  With a little coaxing she will learn.  In the meantime she is settling in nicely.

I normally add only one fall collectible each season, but couldn’t resist Sophie.  She called out to me and before I knew it, she was in her new home.  George was happy he had her company.

Happy Sunday Everyone,
And thank you for stopping by.

MORE VIDEOS FROM THE BIRD CAM...

and a few photos.

Dove and House Finches

Male and female House Finches

Male Downy Woodpecker and Finches

Eastern Gray Squirrel and House Finch

Male Red-bellied Woodpecker

White-breasted Nuthatch

Mourning Doves

Another Mourning Dove at dusk

Red-bellied Woodpecker

Male Northern Cardinal

An Eastern Bluebird, almost certain.  As you can see, he got very close to the lens.  I always think they can hear the shutter sound, or maybe see the lights.  They are rare visitors for me and unfortunately, I didn't get it on a video.   As I like to say with all my blurry photos, it's a memory.

Thanks for looking and I hope your day is a great one.
