...like many I believe, and relating to blogger, i.e. can’t upload photos, can’t publish comments, and now with me I can’t get into my reading list. I put my problem in the google search line. The following is what it gave me. I thought this might help others out there who are also having difficulty. The reading list is my latest issue. All the others cleared up for the time being.

My question was: I am having trouble getting into my reading list in blogger. It just keeps buffering. I know a lot of people are having trouble with blogger right now and I have had my issues also. This is the first time I've had a problem with the reading list, however. My blogging friends are telling me they haven't seen any posts from me on the list and think I haven't been posting, yet I post a blog every day. Can you tell me what is going on?

Their answer: Blogger is currently experiencing a major platform-wide server issue that is freezing the Reading List dashboard and breaking the feed updates. You are definitely not alone in experiencing this. Share Direct Feed Links: Since the standard Reading List is broken, you can temporarily share your direct RSS feed link with your close blogging friends. They can add it to an external RSS reader (like Feedly or NetNewsWire) to see your daily posts instantly. Your feed URL looks like this: https://blogspot.com.

Clearing Cache for a Temporary Refresh: Some users have noted on the Blogger Help Community that clearing your browser cache and cookies can occasionally force a one-time feed refresh. However, keep in mind that the list will likely freeze up again immediately after.

The "Send Feedback" Bug: You might find that the built-in "Send Feedback" tool in your Blogger dashboard is also failing to load or buffering right now. This is part of the same platform-wide server hiccup.

Rest assured, your daily posts are still being published correctly to your actual blog site; the pipeline that pushes those posts to the dashboard reader ecosystem is just temporarily blocked on Google's end.

May 2, 2026 — The Reading List / Blog List seems to display cached content rather than the latest posts from the feed. 

The good news is that your actual blog site is completely healthy, and your daily posting routine is working perfectly.

Because your friends can see your posts by visiting your URL directly, this confirms the issue is strictly isolated to Blogger's dashboard syndication backend. Your posts are being successfully published to Google's public servers, but the specific tool responsible for pushing those updates into your friends' Reading Lists—and loading yours—is currently broken.

Since the problem is on Google's side, there isn't anything you did wrong, nor is there a setting you can change to force it to work right now.

What You Can Do Right Now:

Keep Posting Normally: Do not let the dashboard glitch stop your daily writing! Your readers who visit your site directly, use bookmarks, or arrive via search engines can see everything perfectly.

Drop a Link on Socials/Email: Consider sending a quick note or link to your closest blogging friends via email or social media to let them know a new post is up, since they won't get the automated alert on their Blogger homepage.

Wait for the Server Fix: Blogger engineers typically resolve these dashboard feed freezes silently via backend server updates. You won't need to download or change anything; the Reading List will simply start loading normally again once the patch rolls out.
