Before I continue, I have had problems with publishing comments the last few days or so. I was doing just that, answering comments, and then the glitch happened and put a spanner in the works. It stopped for a while and then came back. I seem to remember someone saying the same thing and am thinking it is one of those blogger issues. I am even slower than normal catching up, but hopefully this will correct itself like it usually does. Fingers crossed!
As for today's post, this is my own very short poem, put together years ago. My apologies to all those great poets out there but sometimes, very rarely, I can look at something and string a few words together. Just a short little ditty, just for fun and a change of pace.
I looked in a window
And what did I see?
No wonderful jewels
To wear in her hair.
A bride half-clothed in this heat,
With a long, long train of
Plastic bags flowing behind her feet.
How sweet!
We were in Fredericksburg several years ago, walking by a large industrial-sized building on a main road. Being the nosy/curious person that I am, I peered inside and saw the mannequin. It looked like the beginnings of an art exhibit. No information on the door or windows, and have no information.
Thanks for looking, have a great weekend and take good care of yourselves out there.

Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I will not be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
